Will my domain stay connected during / after a transfer?

We will NOT automatically change any nameserver settings for your domain names after a successful transfer. The nameservers will remain exactly the same as with your old registrar. This ensures that the connectivity of your domain will not be interrupted.

If you wish to use our DNS hosting services, we recommend the following procedure:

  1. Start the domain name transfer on our website
  2. Add the respective DNS records for the domain in your MijnNaam dashboard
  3. Update the nameservers to ns1/2/3/4.iwantmyname.net before confirming the transfer at your current registrar
